Seven Reasons to Photograph in a Studio

When deciding where to do your photoshoot, it can be a difficult debate between an outdoor and a studio photoshoot. Both have their advantages – locations provide natural lighting and backdrops, while indoor sessions lean more on versatility and convenience.

If you’re doing a photoshoot in Pampanga, here’s why a session in Cimmaroon Studios might be the right choice for you.

1. Enjoy unlimited privacy

Some people don’t enjoy an unexpected audience and onlookers watching them during their photoshoot, especially when they’re camera shy.

This usually happens on outdoor shoots but not in studio sessions.

During your photoshoot, only our photographers, the wardrobe and makeup team, and your company will be present inside.

Our photo studio in Pampanga provides a safe space to pose and be however you want for your photos – comical, goofy, alluring, or your simple-but-fun self.

And if you need to take a breather from the camera, you can relax in the studio’s lounge with your company.

If you’re doing a photoshoot with hired models or a professional portrait, the lack of distraction in our studio will be convenient for you.

2. Weather will never be a problem

Rainy? Sunny? Windy? Stormy? Not a problem with a studio session!

Unless, of course, there’s a typhoon. In this case, we reschedule the shoot to the earliest date possible.

And the best of all? You can smile brightly, knowing you’re not drenched in sweat just because you wanted to catch that elusive golden hour light.

The only “challenge” with a studio shoot is recreating that golden-hour look suitable for sessions like prenup or pre-debut. But with some lighting play and Photoshop magic, that won’t be much of an issue.

3. It’s easier to set up.

Here in our photo studio in Pampanga, we already have the props and backdrops inside. If a client requests one of our themes, we pull them out, set the scene, and we’re good to shoot.

If we need to bring in new props or other items, we have the space to accommodate them.

Our lighting equipment is also in place, so our clients can begin posing once they’re done with their hair and makeup. It’s a hassle-free experience.

4. You have complete control over lighting

In a studio session, you and the photographers have complete control over the lighting settings for the shoot. You can always go for a brighter scene or kick the lighting down a notch.

And you don’t need to rush a shoot in an indoor session just because it’s getting dark already. Or that you might miss a great shot because the sun didn’t show up on the day of your photoshoot.

You can’t ask the sun to shine a bit dimmer during an outdoor session. There’s also the risk of capturing an overexposed shot, an unwanted shadow in the photos, wrong highlights, and annoying angles, to name a few.

5. An indoor shoot is easier to schedule

With a studio session, you have the final say on the date, as long as our studio is also available on your chosen date.

There might be a bit of back-and-forth if you’re bringing your makeup artists, wardrobe, assistants, and additional models. But otherwise, there are fewer things to consider than an outdoor session.

6. There’s ample space for wardrobe and makeup

Our photography studio has 160 square meters of space and is one of the largest photo studio in Pampanga.

We can accommodate you and your models, family, or friends, your wardrobe, and makeup artists, and still have enough space for props and equipment and for you to wiggle around.

7. It’s more affordable than a location photoshoot.

The best benefit of doing an indoor session? It’s way cheaper than an outdoor shoot. There are no additional expenses to secure shooting permits, transportation, and extra work.

Cimmaroon Photography has a variety of packages suitable for every budget. We can also customize some packages to tailor them to your needs and budget.

8. Props? Design? Setup? We got that covered.

You don’t have to worry about what props to bring for your shoot. Our in-house production designer and our collection of props have you covered.

We even have a partner stylist if you need assistance with your photoshoot wardrobe.

Should you book a studio photoshoot in Pampanga?

We’re huge fans of studio shoots because of their convenience, but it’s not for everyone.

So if you seek a photoshoot that’s affordable, private, flexible, and has ample space, then a studio session is perfect for you!
